This class had many useful pieces. Each of the computer component projects were informative and will be helpful in the future. I enjoyed the Geek & Pirates movies, getting to know the history of computers was very interesting. I also thought that the disaster recovery assignment and the things that we learned about disaster recovery were very helpful. I never really put much thought into what I would do if my computer crashed but now I have a back up plan if it does. Hopefully I will put that plan into action before something happens! :)
I would say that the only thing that I did not really find useful was the computer simulation that we did the first week. This is not something that I would use, but I guess it is nice to know all of the steps that the computer has to take to get through a simple task. So, I guess that was beneficial too, I just don't see myself using it on a regular basis.
Overall I really enjoyed this class. It was informative and interesting. Thanks!!!
